I missed the last Sketchcrawl in August, so I had to make it to this one. I think I've only missed maybe 5 or 6 of them since they've started in November 2004. I warmed up on BART and then picked up the parasol ladies on the way to Fishermans' Wharf. Those are boats in the harbor there. I made it over to Washington Square and called it day there. Here are my results.

Have you seen the Watercolor Illustration work of David Wenzel before? http://www.davidwenzel.com/ I have a comic version of The Hobbit he did in the late 1980's or early 1990's.
Karen Luk is a drawer of words and writer of images. She is an art instructor and freelance illustrator who creates manga inspired comics. The Cartoon Art Museum and Google have exhibited her work. At state and national conferences, she has presented manga/anime history and comics as a storytelling medium. She is a graduate of the California College of Art with a BFA in Illustration.
