Holiday Anime Faire

I was following this thread, so this is my contribution. It was fun to playing around in a different style and practice using Photoshop. I remember reading the books in junior high.

Raconteur hiatus

My hiatus from Raconteur on GirlaMatic.com will be longer than expected. After the show finished, I was approached to complete three portrait commissions before the end of the year. They are pretty straight forward, but time consuming. As a result, I do not have time for more Raconteur stories until January at the latest. I've posted the recent GAM-o-Ween comics I completed and I may update random work-in-progress comics as time permits.

Sketchcrawl 16 results

I missed the last Sketchcrawl in August, so I had to make it to this one. I think I've only missed maybe 5 or 6 of them since they've started in November 2004. I warmed up on BART and then picked up the parasol ladies on the way to Fishermans' Wharf. Those are boats in the harbor there. I made it over to Washington Square and called it day there. Here are my results.

Now, that the show is underway and the reception's talk is done, I can now return my forcus on comics and other drawings. I'll post photos of the show and the reception later. In the meantime, here's more boxing drawn while watching TV.

Beneath the Surface reception

The reception for Beneath the Surface, my solo exhibition, is next Wednesday, September 26th from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. I will be discussing my work at 7:30 pm. I am showing my illustrative pastels and watercolors along with the web comic pages from Girlamatic.com.

The show will run until October 26, 2007 at the Louie-Meager Art Gallery. The promotional card is here:
