Cherry Blossom Festival

Manga Mania

My Manga Mania workshops for the Alameda County Libraries kicks off on April 3rd at the Albany Library from 4 to 5:30 pm. The workshops are open for kids aged 10 to 12 years old. Here's the complete list of dates, times and locations. Reserve a spot a week in advance. Hope to see you there!

Here are the pages from Saturday's Comic Jam as created by a dozen tweens. It was a collaborative comic where the characters and story was created in the workshop and everyone drew and wrote a panel.

Comic Jam

Come learn basic story structure for making comics! Create a collaborative jam comic with other artists. We'll cover basic comic paneling and layout techniques for comics and character design. It's open to 7th to 12th graders. Basic drawing skill is required. The Comic Jam workshop is on March 10th, Saturday, from 2 to 4:30 pm. Google solo show

My artwork is on display at the Google campus, building GWC 1 in Mountain View, CA. The solo show runs until March 30, 2012. It features my original watercolor and pastel paintings. The reception is to be announced.

Sharing Stories

Sharing Stories show opened today at Ohlone College in the President’s office, room 1216. My solo show will be there through October 25th and the office is open is Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Come by and see original comic pages as well as some of my recent paintings!
