Comics Fest 2017 - San Mateo County Libraries

I'm participating in the Comics Fest 2017 in February as put on by the San Mateo County Libraries. It's a great opportunity for aspiring comic creators of all ages to meet professional comic creators and tune up some skills. I'm teaching several of the Cartoon Art Museum workshops listed. Here's the event page: http://smcl.org/comicartsfest/

If you'd like me to teach you at the Comics Fest 2017, check out these dates and topics. Be sure to check with the specific library branch if advance sign ups are needed. There are kids, teens, and adult workshops. They're free and open to the public. Hope to see you there!

January 2017 Intro to Manga workshops

As part of San Francisco Public Library's We Love Diverse Books Celebration, I'm teaching Intro to Manga workshops at four library branches. The workshops are free and open to tweens and teens. No drawing skills are required. Come learn the secrets of manga faces and expressions and basic character design! Check with the specific library branches for sign ups.

36th Santa Clara Art & Wine Festival

I will be exhibiting at the 36th Santa Clara Art and Wine Festival in Central Park, 969 Kiely Blvd, Santa Clara, CA this weekend, September 17th to 18th. Clockwork Alchemy and Kickstarter

I'll be at Clockwork Alchemy held at the Double Tree in San Jose, CA from May 27th to 30th. I'm sharing the space with Bobcat Publishing at booth #36 in the Artist's Bazaar. We'll be there with our steampunk themed art and more! We're participating in a convention scavenger hunt sponsored by the Sacramento Steampunk Society. Stop by for a map stamp, lovely conversation, and a chance to win a prize from the Society.

I launched the Steampunk Zodiac 2017 Calendar today! If you're coming to Clockwork Alchemy and show me your pledge at the booth, I'll give you an extra gift as a thank you for your early support. I will have some of originals from the calendar on display.
